Everyone is invited each year to A Concert for Winter which is Shakespeare’s Globe’s annual celebration of the Southwark community through song and music. School and community groups are invited to perform songs and music on the Globe stage. I was always a part of the Globe staff choir and performing too were the Southwark Metropolitan Police Community Choir. ‘A Policeman’s lot is not a Happy One’ from The Pirates of Penzance caused a riot!
